Omega Consultants attended the 2019 Phosphate Spring Conference held at the The Gasparilla Inn & Club in Boca Grande in April. The Florida Phosphate Political Committee (#FPPC) organizes the conference every year and brings in guest speakers who provide information on topics within their own areas of expertise relevant to the phosphate industry or topics as they pertain to our communities and lives.
President of Omega, Steve McCormick, said, “The Spring Conference was a fantastic event this year. Each year we look forward to reconnecting with people we’ve met over the years who have become business confidants and friends, from companies like TAW, Penn Pro Engineering, and Jacobs Engineering Group Inc., to name a few. This retreat provides the ideal atmosphere to learn new business trends and political insights, and listen to business developments from member companies like Mosaic and Nutrien. Best of all, we always have a great deal of fun! The venue is spectacular and I especially enjoy Friday afternoon golf. We tried to defend our championship win from last year, but fell short. We look forward to next year’s rematch.”
